Port City International University Cultural Forum (PCCF) started its journey from the beginning of 2014. Ms. Rayhana Fatema Chowdhury, the then Lecturer of the Department of English took the responsibility of the forum as the coordinator and Ms. Farhana Alam, the then Students’ Welfare Advisor helped her whole heartedly. The forum started its journey with a team of around thirty members, and now the number of members is around five hundred!

From June, 2017, Ms. Dilruba Akter, Lecturer, Department of Journalism, took the post of Students’ Welfare Advisor and also started working with the forum.

Short description for Port City International University Cultural Forum

PCCF creates a major networking opportunity for the students to highlight culture’s role in breeding talent and creativity. The forum aims at evolving talents in the cultural arena to make the students rational and creative. It also highly motivates them to practice native culture, coping with global arts, with a view to maintaining harmony and brotherhood as a global citizen.

Mr. Fuhad Ahmed, Senior Lecturer of Statistics from the department of Natural Science, has taken the responsibility as the coordinator of Port City International University Cultural Forum (PCCF) from January, 2018. He wants to develop the forum by imposing new techniques to ensure perfection in practicing our own culture. To make it successful, PCCF is going to work hard with a team consists of faculties from different departments; who have the expertise in different sectors like dance, song, drama etc. The coordinator appreciates cooperation from all the respected team members of the forums. All the amazing and creative students of the forum are expected to work with the spirit of the New Year. At the same time, the new students, who are interested to flourish their talent in cultural activities, are highly encouraged to join the forum.
