A Webinar entitled “Monitoring & Evaluation of Building Construction Project” was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering, PCIU at online platform Zoom, on July 31, 2021. The webinar was also broadcasted live from the official facebook page of the department. There were about 200 participants in the webinar along with all the faculties and final year students of the department. The program was presided over by Mr. Sajedur Rahman, Chairman, dept. of CEN, PCIU. Prof. Dr. Md. Nural Anwar, Vice-Chancellor, Port City International University, was the Chief Guest of the webinar. Prof. Dr. Engr. Mafzal Ahmed, honorable Dean, faculty of Science and Engineering, PCIU and Prof. Dr. Sudip Kumar Pal (Head, Department of CE, CUET), honorable Coordinator of CEN Department, PCIU, participated as Special Guests. Dr. Engr. Abu Naser Chowdhury, Superintending Engineer, Public Works Department (PWD), was the Keynote Speaker of the program. He gave his valuable speech and presentation on construction details of Building. And He also shared his practical experiences with the students. At the end of the program Prof. Dr. Sudip Kumar Pal presented the virtual certificate to keynote speaker Dr. Engr. Abu Naser Chowdhury as a token of appreciation. The webinar ended with everyone’s successful participation and the honorable Chairman, Mr. Sajedur Rahman thanked every student and guest for their active participation.
