This is Department of Fashion Design and Technology of Port City International University. The journey of the department was started in May 2, 2014. PCIU is the only private university in Chittagong which has the program of B.Sc. in Fashion Design and Technology. It’s becoming a most popular subject day by day in our country. The number of students in this department increasing rapidly.At the moment, the total number of students is near about 250. The department is all set to expand its educational expertise in Chittagong.Though our department is new, already we have 5 Lab rooms with different kind of equipment and materials named Illustration Lab, Patten Lab, Sewing Lab, Cad- Cam Lab and Fashion photography Lab. We are working to retain the world standard in every horizontal.

We believe our student will create their own position in Fashion world in future under the leadership of our talented and dynamic faculty members. They will success in their own business as entrepreneurs of fashion house and creating employment for others.They can also play an important contribution in the growth and development of many local and foreign organizations in many sectorsincluding the ready-made-garments, interior design,media and advertising industry.  Already the students have proved their illegibility in the local competition. Our vision to working together to overcome the next fashion world by promoting our country’s fabric and to expand our culture towards the world.
