Teaching and research must go side by side at university level to keep a congenial environment for knowledge creation, dissemination and preservation from generation to generation. Emphasizing the fact, the PCIU has created an avenue for the researchers and took initiative to publish a journal every year from all the faculties either home or abroad. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of PCIU instructed all concerned to give priority on quality research and to be publishing the journal on time. The Editorial Board has taken it seriously. And it is a great pleasure for the editor to say that eventually the journal is just coming out of the press.
The Editorial Board approved ten research paper for this volume [6 (1 & 2), 2019] following a rigorous peer-review process. The Editorial Board followed the standard procedure of selecting every article by referring it to reviewers for comments. After receiving the article from the authors, the articles were scrutinized primarily by Editorial Board and every selected article was sent to reviewers. The authors were asked to revise their articles in light of reviewer’s comments whenever needed. However, it is the honorable readers who would judge the quality of the articles.
On behalf of the Editorial Board, I extend my sincere thanks and congratulations to all the esteemed authors and reviewers and also PCIU authority for their help and co-operation. I express my special gratitude and thanks to the Hon’ble Founder Chairman of Board of Trustees, PICU and Deputy Minister, Ministry of Water Resources, GoB, Mr. A.K.M. Enamul Haque Shamim and Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Nural Anwar for their wholehearted co-operation and generous support in bringing out this publication.
I take the opportunity to assure that the PCIU authority will continue to publish this peer-reviewed journal to provide an effective platform for publishing high-quality research output of proven standard.
Finally, the editor takes all the blames for any unintended fault(s) that might be there in the journal.
