M.S.S in Broadcast & Print Journalism

Journalism & Media Studies is a diverse discipline. The department of Journalism & Media Studies of Port City International University emphasizes on nurturing communication skills for learners; infinite purpose. It encompasses teaching and research expertise in a range of areas inclusive of communication Policy & Planning, Development journalism, Media Research & Cultural analysis, Peace journalism, News Media Studies, Advanced Reporting & Editing and so on. We also emphasizes on Research conducting thesis and projects and Internship making an attachment to professional Media Industry and Development organizations.We prefer tech- based learning beside classroom teaching practice and also to make learning gamified. Our updated curriculum serves the learners to explore the world equipped with unveiling the truth. We motivate the students for extra curriculum to make them creative, rational and empathetic. The department of Journalism & Media Studies of Port City International University (PCIU) under the faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences and Law offers Bachelors of Social Science (B.S.S) and Master of Social Science(MSS) degree under Broadcast & Print Journalism program.

Admission Requirements

> Minimum GPA 2.50 or second division in both S.S.C and H.S.C or equivalent from relevant group.

> Minimum 5 subjects in O-Level and 2 subjects in A-Level with minimum grade of B in 4 subjects and C in 3 subjects from science group

> Minimum second class or CGPA 2.50 or equivalent CGPA in Bachelor's degree from relevant subject/group
