What are the minimum qualifications for admission?
We work hard to attract talented students through our strategic plans.Students whom are interested to take admission at PCIU must have to fulfill our requirements for different programs otherwise you are not eligible for admission. We do our best to approve as many eligible students at possible.Minimum qualifications for admission into different programs are:
Bachelor’s Degree Programs

Arts, Law, Social Science and Business Related Programs:
- Minimum GPA 2.50 in both S.S.C and H.S.C or equivalent
- Minimum 5 subjects in O-Level and 2 subjects in A-Level with minimum grade of B in 4 subjects and C in 3 subjects

Science and Engineering Related Programs:
- Minimum GPA 2.50 in both S.S.C and H.S.C with science background or equivalent
- Minimum 5 subjects in O-Level and 2 subjects in A-Level with minimum grade of B in 4 subjects and C in 3 subjects from science group
Master’s Degree Programs:
- Minimum GPA 2.50 or second division in both S.S.C and H.S.C or equivalent from relevant group
- Minimum 5 subjects in O-Level and 2 subjects in A-Level with minimum grade of B in 4 subjects and C in 3 subjects from relevant group
- Minimum second class or equivalent CGPA in Bachelor’s degree from relevant subject/group

Master of Business Administration (MBA), M. A. in English (Preliminary & Final), M. S. S. in Broadcast & Print Journalism (Preliminary & Final) and M. S. S. in Economics (Preliminary & Final)
- Graduates (B. A./ B. Sc./ B. Com./ B. S. S. or equivalent)/Master’s degree from any discipline

- 4 years Bachelor of Laws from any recognized university

From where will the prospective students get the admission form?
Admission forms are available in admission office of the university at 7 - 14, Nikunja Housing Society, South Khulshi, Chittagong by paying Tk. 500.00.
How do i pay my application fee?
You have to pay your application fee tk 500.00 at the admission office of PCIU while you collect the admission form.
Paying the application fee is a hardship for my family can i get a waiver?
There are a few ways you may go about requesting that your fee be waived. First, you may submit a fee waiver from the university.If you are unable to obtain these forms, you may have your guidance counselor or college official send us a letter requesting a fee waiver based on financial hardship. You may also write this letter yourself, and have it signed by college official.
