A workshop entitled “Workshop on Mooting Activities” was organized by Department of Law at the university auditorium on November 18, 2017. Professor Dr. Nurul Anwar, Honorable Vice Chancellor of PCIU, while inaugurating the programme as Chief Guest, focused on importance of legal education and practical mooting activities for building a shining career. Professor Dr. Engr. Mafzal Ahmed, Dean of Faculty of Science and Engineering of PCIU was also present. The Workshop was conducted in collaboration with Society for Critical Legal Studies (SCLS) from where Imran Hossain Imon, Tohfatur Rabbi Piyal and Tanvir Azam Taif, students of Department of Law, University of Chittagong delivered their respective speech and shared their practical experiences on Mooting Activities. They made their session interactive, lively and highly impressive and the participation of our students was remarkable. The Workshop was chaired by Mrs Afroza Parveen, Chairman of the Department of Law .Munshi Nigar Amin, Lecturer of the department anchored the Workshop. Faculty Members namely Mr. Samiul Alam, Mrs Asma Mozumder, Mr. Avijit Chowdhury and Mr. Mohammad Sazzad Hossen were present in the workshop.
