A seminar entitled “Seminar on Food Adulteration in Bangladesh” was organized by Department of Law at the university auditorium on March 31, 2018. Professor Dr. Nurul Anwar, Honorable Vice Chancellor of PCIU, while inaugurating the programme as Chief Guest, focused on the importance of raising awareness regarding food adulteration in Banglaedsh. Mr. Md. Selim Hossain, Controller of exam, PCIU was also present. The key-note speaker Jahanara Ferdous, Joint Distirct judge( Special Magistrate) specified different aspects regarding food adulteration in Bangladesh. She made her session interactive, lively and highly impressive and the participation of our students was remarkable. The seminar was chaired by Mrs Afroza Parveen, Chairman of the Department of Law .Munshi Nigar Amin, Lecturer of the department anchored the Workshop. Faculty Members namely Mr. Ziaul Karim , Mrs Asma Mozumder, Mr. Avijit Chowdhury and Mr. Mohammad Sazzad Hossen were present in the Seminar.
