PCIU journalism students visited Bangladesh Tea Board
Students of the 15th batch of Journalism and Media Studies of Port City International University visited Bangladesh Tea Board, Chittagong Center. As part of their field visit of ‘Contemporary Bangladesh Affairs’ course they visited the organization.
Main focus of the visit was to investigate the current market condition and the importance of tea industry in the competitive world. Mr. Munir Ahamaad, deputy director (Planning) of Bangladesh Tea Board, Chittagong center welcomed students for their enthusiasm to visit the tea board. He explained the current figure and dimensional activities of tea board before the students.
Mr. Munir said, marking new sector and sensing the importance of this industry is necessary to the branding and expansion of tea industry.
Course teacher Mr. Prashanta Kumar Shill told, to expand the research activities of students both study and experimental knowledge of field work is needed.
