A seminar entitled “CSE Career Guidelines and Industrial Knowledge” was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Computer Club (PCC) of Port City International University on December 8, 2024. Mr. Anisul Islam, Full Stack Trainer at Integrify and former Research Assistant at Tampere University, Finland, delivered the keynote speech. Professor Dr. Md. Nural Anwar, honorable vice chancellor of the university, graced the program as the chief guest. Professor Dr. Engr. Mafzal Ahmed, honorable dean of the faculty of Science and Engineering, Prof. Mainul Hasan Chowdhury, honorable dean of the faculty of Humanities, Social Science & Law, Mr. Md. Obaydur Rahman, registrar of the university, and Professor Muhammad Anwarul Azim , the coordinator of the department was also present as special guests. The seminar was presided over by Mrs. Manoara Begum, chairman of the department. All faculty members and students of the CSE department were also present at the seminar.

Mr. Anisul Islam shared essential career strategies, future trends in web development, research guidelines, and the growing scope of international job opportunities. He also emphasized the importance of soft skill and technical skill development in career success. The seminar was a highly informative session for all CSE students, providing valuable insights into both the academic and professional paths ahead.
